A Dad

A Dad is a person
who is loving and kind,
And often he knows
what you have on your mind.
He's someone who listens,
suggests, and defends.
A dad can be one
of your very best friends!
He's proud of your triumphs,
but when things go wrong,
A dad can be patient
and helpful and strong
In all that you do,
a dad's love plays a part.
There's always a place for him
deep in your heart.
And each year that passes,
you're even more glad,
More grateful and proud
just to call him your dad!
Thank you, Dad...
for listening and caring,
for giving and sharing,
but, especially, for just being you!

Salam,

How if we plan to celebrate Father's Day next time? Not really holding a big bash for 'em. Just creating cards for each of 'em and baking cakes. Well, that needs 'em to gather at one place, maybe at kampung. :)

Ive wished my dad already! hehehe... i dunno what about ur dads, but as for my dad, he prefers to be quiet than talking when he got problems. when he is strangely quiet, that indicates he's having a prob. but when he's happy, he'll buy anything his kids want to, esp eating out. one thing i notice between my mum and dad is that, mum used to firstly ask about my condition when she speaks to me on the phone, like whether or not ive eaten, how's my health... but dad, he would ask about my studies first and also the weather at my place. whatever the top questions from my mum and dad, im grateful to Allah for having such loving and caring parents! =)
